[Baseball] Tigers split double header with Roosevelt

CRESTWOOD, Ill. - The Olivet Nazarene University baseball team earned a win in game one their doubleheader with Roosevelt University on Tuesday, April 9 behind a strong outing on the mound from Aren Gustafson. Gustafson threw five innings, giving up three runs and recording three strike outs. Mason Madalinski closed the game for the Tigers throwing two innings and earning the save, his first of the season. The offense put on a display as five different Tigers recorded RBIs, to give the Tigers a 7-3 victory.

Samson Barboza started game two for the Tigers, throwing five innings giving up no runs and recording two strike outs. A sixth inning rally by Roosevelt tied the game and allowed them to tie the game and then pick up a win in walk off style in the 11th inning, 4-3.
