Distressed boy, 9, screams ‘No! No! No!’ at porch pirate he caught stealing his bike

A nine year-old boy cried ‘No, no, no’ as he begged a porch pirate not to steal his beloved bike.

Distressing video footage shows Jonathan DeLaCerda plead with the crook not to steal his black and orange Kent Chaos BMX from outside his home in Rosenberg, Texas, on April 4.

Jonathan says: ‘No, don’t do it…No, no, no, no, no, no. Oh my God.’

The thief struck while Jonathan and his pals were taking a quick bathroom break from riding them ouside his house.

One of his pals alerted the youngster that a suspicious character was in the yard after spotting the crook on the doorbell cam.

Jonathan ran out to confront him, but the thief refused to budge.

Afterwards, the schoolboy told Click2Houston: ‘That was my first bike that I learned all of my tricks on.

‘I learned how to do wheelies, stand on top of the bike one-handed. That’s the bike I learned how to do all my tricks and I just got it stolen.’

Empathetic Jonathan added: ‘It just makes me feel sad for the people that have stuff stolen.

‘Like now, how I’m feeling, I get how everybody else is feeling whenever they get something stolen.’

The youngster’s father Anthony DeLaCerda said he’d been left badly shocked by the encounter, explaining: ‘He was pretty shaken up, pretty devastated.

‘As a parent, it’s really hard to deal with that.’

The suspect’s face was difficult to see in the doorbell camera video, making it harder to issue a description.

But local police are investigating the theft in the hope of tracking him down.
