Katie Price accused of ripping off fans by selling overpriced clothes from her children’s range

KATIE Price has come under fire AGAIN, this time being accused of ripping off fans by selling overpriced clothes from her new children’s range.

The mum-of-five has launched a clothing line named after her children – but it’s now being claimed she has hiked up the prices.

Katie launched two kids ranges named after her children, Princess and Bunny for girls, and Junior and Jett for boys.

She’s now facing a backlash from fans who found her items cheaper on other sites.

According to the Mirror Online, Katie is selling some of the products in the range for almost triple what she paid for them.

They claim the tweed pearl dress modelled by Princess has a cost price of around £11 but Katie is selling it on her site for £30.

A yellow floral two-piece also modelling by Princess is claimed to have cost Katie just £10, but it’s up for sale on her site for £25.

A source told the publication: “Katie’s prices are really high considering the cost price from the supplier. She must be making a lot of money.”

The cash-strapped TV star – who almost went bankrupt last year –  announced in February she would be launching a kidswear brand.

In December Katie swerved bankruptcy when the tax man accepted her plan to repay her £22,000 debt.

The former glamour model had been battling for months to reach an agreement with creditors following an earlier hearing.

The ex-I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star was once said to be worth more than £40 million and was known as a savvy businesswoman.

But she has since been plagued with financial troubles and was given time to negotiate a deal with the taxman over her finances by a judge at a specialist insolvency and companies court in October last year.
