Men impersonating officers threaten to 'kick the door in'

A man in Richland County got a knock on his door from two apparent law enforcement officers, but deputies say that is not the case.

On April 6, surveillance video caught two men knocking on a door, saying they were from the "special bureau of investigations."

They claimed they just wanted to talk. However, when no one answered, one man can be heard saying, "We'll just grab the team and just come back." The other man responded saying, "We'll just bring the team back. We'll kick the door in."

Both men appear to wearing hats and boots, with one wearing a vest. Neither had a visible bade or weapon, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Office.
