Province govt doing well: CM Poudel

Hetauda, April 13

Province 3 Chief Minister Dormani Poudel today claimed that his government had picked up the pace of development.

Inaugurating the first conference of Nepal Red Cross Society of Province 3 in Hetauda, CM Poudel held that the government had accomplished a lot of work compared to the time prior to formation of the province structure. “The results may have escaped the people, but we are proud of the work we have done so far,” he added.

Poudel said the province government was working to make it an excellent region compared to other provinces. “The province faces shortage of employees and adequate laws to carry out development works. Despite these hurdles, the province is making remarkable progress,” he said, adding that it would not be wise to expect everything from the provincial government.

He stressed the need of coordination and collaboration among the three tiers of government to institutionalise federalism in the country.
