Ukrainian banks close 60 branches in 2019

Ukrainian banks in January-March 2019 reduced the number of offices by 60, to 8,449, according to the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

According to its data, Oschadbank closed 41 branches, Alfa-Bank 12, Ukrsotsbank ten, and PrivatBank closed eight branches.

As of April 1, Oschadbank remains the leader in the number of branches with 2,589 offices, PrivatBank ranks second with 2,013 branches.

Raiffeisen Bank Aval (502 branches) and UkrSibbank (300 branches) also have large networks of divisions.

In the first quarter, FUIB showed the largest increase in the number of bank branches, opening seven branches.
