PG&E too complex for
state to just take over

It is rather amusing that a newspaper company without any significant knowledge or experience running a highly technical and complex operation, like PG&E, recommends consideration of a California takeover (“PG&E’s latest move boosts the case for California takeover,” Editorial, April 7).

Never mind that California already has no fewer than 236 separate state agencies, many regulatory. At least our Constitution, the First Amendment, promises freedom of speech.
