Model Rhian Sugden turns to IVF following ‘devastating news’ about her fertility
MODEL Rhian Sugden has spoken about her battle to start a family with hubby Oliver Mellor using IVF.
The lingerie beauty told fans she had received “devastating news” about her fertility.
Opening her heart to 384,000 Twitter followers the ex-Page 3 girl said she is now “wishing for a miracle”.
Rhian, 32, wrote: “I wasn’t going to share this news but I feel the need to highlight the struggles that a lot of women are going through.
“Being told now you might not have children is heartbreaking.
“I don’t like the pressure that people put on women to have children. I don’t like the pressure I’ve put on myself.
“I struggle to answer questions about when I am going to start a family, even though I know the questions come from a good place.
“All I can say really is that I’ve been trying and I can’t.”
Manchester-based Rhian wed Oliver, 38, who played Corrie’s Dr Matt Carter, last September.
Fans were quick to support her.
