Game of Thrones season 8 is about to be unleashed — so who’ll end up on the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms?
We’ve been glued since 2011 and half the main cast has been bumped off in some of the most gruesome TV killing ever.
So, who will end up on the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms and depose the mad Queen?
In six weeks’ time we will finally find out if Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen’s deadly dragons have managed to defeat the Night King and his army of undead White Walkers.
Will Daenerys, who bedded Jon without knowing he is her nephew and higher up the royal rankings, learn the truth?
Grey Worm, Commander of the Unsullied, and Daenerys’ handmaiden Missandei consummated their love last season – as much as a eunuch can – but will they both make it through the war alive? I wouldn’t bet on it.
We fans want blood, violence and sweet, sweet revenge please. The battles will be EPIC! But will it all turn out right in the end?
This is Game of Thrones for goodness’ sake.
To quote Ramsay Bolton before he was eaten alive: “If you think this has a happy ending, you’ve NOT been paying attention.”

The battles
THE last fight for the Iron Throne is guaranteed to be epic but how can it top the scorching dragon fights of Series Seven?
These are the bloody battles to savour in the final series:
The Mountain vs The Hound
The battle fans have been screaming for. We know The Hound’s injuries were caused by his brother – and the blood between them is as bad as, well, The Mountain’s actual blood.
It would be the sword fight to end all sword fights.
Jaime Vs Cersei Lannister
All is not well between Queen Cersei and brother Jaime, who is also her lover. She seems hell-bent on self-destruction and refuses to accept the real threat of the Night King.
Her mind has been skewed by the deaths of all her children – predicted by Maggie the Frog in Season Five.
Kingslayer could be Queenslayer. I wouldn’t bet against it.
Jon Snow vs The Night King
They first set eyes on each other back at Hardhome, with Jon saved only because of about 20ft of shoreline.
The real battle of Westeros is good vs evil, and the reluctant hero, Jon Snow, inevitably has to take on evil incarnate – The Night King, head of the White Walkers and slayer of dragons.

Both raised by Mother of Dragons Daenerys, these two fire-breathers were happy siblings until the Night King arrived with that massive spear, killed Viserion and then raised him from the dead.
