[Men's Basketball] Meyer part of NABC's Top 30-Under-30

Accolades continue to roll in for Georgetown College's men's basketball team. This time it is to honor a man behind the scenes – assistant coach Barrett Meyer. Tuesday afternoon the National Association of Basketball Coaches released its 2019 Under Armour 30-Under-30 Team, representing 30 of the most outstanding men's college basketball coaches under the age of 30.

Meyer has been with Georgetown for two seasons, helping coach Chris Briggs guide the team to a 60-11 mark with a national title in 2019.

"Barrett is a phenomenal coach with an incredibly bright future. I appreciate all he does to help our players and program," Briggs said. "He is a rising star and very deserving of this recognition.

"Barrett came to Georgetown for the chance to win a national championship, and it was great to see his hard work and dedication to our team pay off this season."
