[Women's Lacrosse] Point WLAX Four Late Goals; Loses AAC Semifinal to TWU, 16-15

WEST POINT, Ga. – Number two-seeded Point University women's lacrosse (12-6), which is receiving votes for the NAIA National Top 10, trailed 11-5 just 1:10 before halftime and then outscored number three-seeded Tennessee Wesleyan (8-7) in the second half, 9-5, and cut TWU's lead to one goal with 2:24 left in Friday's Appalachian Athletic Conference semifinal battle at Reinhardt University in Waleska, Ga.  The Bulldogs, which also received votes for the national Top 10, defended its slim one-goal lead and hung on to win, 16-15, and advance to the AAC championship match against number one seed Reinhardt (15-1), Saturday, April 20, at 2 p.m.  Reinhardt ranks number six in the NAIA National Coaches' Top 10.
