Police ask for help finding missing San Jose woman

Authorities are looking for a 61-year-old San Jose woman whose medical condition may put her at risk.

Police say Chunyu Pu was last seen around 5 p.m. Friday on the 2400 block of Redbud Court in San Jose.

California Highway Patrol has issued a Silver Alert for Pu. CHP officials did not specify what medical condition Pu has, but said she “may become disoriented.”

Pu was last seen wearing a burgundy and pink jacket and black or grey pants. She is an Asian woman with black hair and brown eyes, weighing about 110 pounds and standing about 5 feet, 5 inches tall.

San Jose police are asking anyone with information to call 911 or the department’s missing persons unit at (408) 277-4786.
