[Baseball] Point Baseball Splits Last Twinbill with SAU; Wins Game One, 12-9

LAURINBURG, N.C. – Point University (29-21; 13-14 AAC) tied for fifth place in the Appalachian Athletic Conference regular-season standings after winning two of its three games in its weekend series at St. Andrews University (21-28; 6-21 AAC).  Point came back from a 9-4 deficit to beat the Knights in game one, 12-9, but lost the nightcap, 3-2.  The Skyhawks won 2-of-3 games against five conference opponents this season and won 1-of-3 against three opponents.  Only third-place Truett McConnell swept all three games against Point.
