San Jose: Man shot near Happy Hollow Zoo
SAN JOSE — A man is recovering after being shot near Happy Hollow Park and Zoo over the weekend, police said.
Officers were dispatched to Keyes and South 12th streets about 6:35 p.m. Sunday for a report of a shooting, according to San Jose police Officer Gina Tepoorten. They arrived to find a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Tepoorten said the victim was rushed to a hospital, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
No suspects have been arrested or identified.
The motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation.
