Sourav Ganguly extended his support to Vijay Shankar to do well in the World Cup and made it clear that the all-rounder has got a place because he has done well in Australia and New Zealand. There has been debate over Shankar being picked in the team ahead of Ambati Rayudu, with the selectors saying they chose the TN player for his "three-dimensional skills"
