Starbucks is coming for your Instagram feed with new summer beverages
Starbucks Corp. has designed its summer menu with customer Instagram feeds in mind, launching a Mango Dragonfruit Refresher, and a Dragon Drink that combines that refresher with coconut milk. The bright purple drinks "will add a pop of color to your cup (and social media feed)," the company said. Starbucks hit social media gold with the Unicorn Frappuccino, and has since tried to replicate that result with drinks like the Crystal Ball Frappuccino. For summer, Starbucks also has a Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino, a Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino, and the previously announced S'mores Frappuccino, which is returning thanks to customer feedback. There are also summer food options, including the Baja Black Been Veggie Wrap. Starbucks shares have gained 19.4% for the year to date while the S&P 500 index has gained 17.4% for the period.
