But because we "gifted" them a goal and Bielsa clearly ordered it and the players largely accepted it apart from Pontus (but because Berardi had a go at him that negated that a bit).
Because of that we look like the good guys, now as we go towards the playoffs the narrative wont be "horrible cheating Leeds" it will be "good on Leeds for doing the right thing".
It helps that technically we threw away automatic totally by doing it, it makes us look even better.
We are the honest club while Villa are being criticsed for there naivety.
That seems to be the general consensus amongst neutrals now with even Lampard praising us.
And that will help us imo, i felt spygate weighed heavily on us, it added extra pressure.
This imo has removed some pressure and the players can take that forward.
