Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp would be well advised to hand defender Joe Gomez a start against Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Reds travel to the Nou Camp for their semi final first leg clash, with the most important thing being that they are still in the tie once the 90 minutes is over.

With that said, the more defensively stout Gomez should start over Trent Alexander-Arnold at right back. Meanwhile, Joel Matip, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino must come in for Dejan Lovren, Georginio Wijnaldum and Daniel Sturridge.
