Cochise Baseball hosting region one semi-finals as #1 seed

The #15 nationally ranked Cochise College Apaches finished the regular season this past weekend at the top of the ACCAC conference.  They finished the regular season with a 42-13 overall record and a 26-12 conference record.  Division I playoffs will begin this Thursday, May 2 as the Apaches will host the fourth place Central Arizona College Vaqueros.  The playoffs are set up in a best of three game format with the winner moving on to the Region I Championship next week.  Game 1 will start at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 2 at the Cochise Baseball Field.  Game 2 will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 3 at the Cochise Baseball field.  Game 3, if necessary, will start at noon on Saturday, May 4.
