Man City keeper Ederson ‘definitely not’ a Tommy Robinson supporter after being stopped for a photo by far-right activist

MANCHESTER CITY star Ederson insists he is not a fan of Tommy Robinson after posing for a photo with the far-right activist.

A snap of the pair was circulated around social media on Tuesday evening, with Ederson smiling alongside Robinson.

However, the Man City goalkeeper is adamant he was not aware who he was taking a photo with.

And Ederson adds he wouldn’t have posed with Robinson if he knew who he was.

Ederson tweeted: “People have made me aware of who this guy is.

“I definitely do not support this guy or his ideas.

“He just stopped me for a picture.

“I had no idea who he was (do not be a liar).”

Ederson joined Man City from Benfica for £35million in 2017 and went on to win the title a year later.

He has already clocked up 87 appearances under Pep Guardiola.

And Ederson will be hoping to make it two titles on the bounce as league leaders City lead Liverpool by a point with two games remaining.
