Community Health Systems: 1Q Earnings Snapshot

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (AP) _ Community Health Systems Inc. (CYH) on Tuesday reported a loss of $118 million in its first quarter.

The Franklin, Tennessee-based company said it had a loss of $1.04 per share. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs and to extinguish debt, came to 53 cents per share.
