This is the second time when Khan has been barred from campaigning by the poll panel. Earlier last month he was banned from campaigning for 72 hours for his controversial comment against BJP candidate Jaya Prada. The fresh action has been taken for his “highly provocative speeches” to secure votes on religious lines. Khan’s two day ban will commence at 6 am from Wednesday.
