Firefighters ‘trapped as engine tips over responding to 999 call’
Firefighters are reportedly trapped beneath an engine which was responding to a 999 call.
Crews are working to free them after the vehicle overturned on a roundabout in Billingham, Teesside, around 9pm this evening.
Photos from the scene show the engine on its side, with emergency workers using ladders to try and access the vehicle.
Ambulances are on scene, while any injuries of those trapped are unknown at present.
The road remains closed as the incident is ongoing.
