Domane Iso Speed headset Question
Greetings
I'm in process of diagnosing a clunking sound coming from my 2017 Domane Iso Speed headset. I have downloaded the Trek manual for this and I can't seem to figure out how to verify the 10 Nm torque spec for the compression plug. I have removed the top cap, and can see the compression plug, but can't determine how to tighten or loosen, much lees verify the torque value. There is the threaded section which the top cap bolts threads into, but no internal hex fitting (or any other means to tighten/loosen) for tightening or loosening. I can insert a variety of tools through the compression plug's threaded section without encountering any fitting that would allow tighten or loosen. Definitely not the type of compression plug I have encountered in the past. I'm sure I'm missing something, so if anyone is familiar with this compression plug component and how to verify the torque setting, tighten and or loosen, please share. Thanks in advance.
