New 'Child's Play' Poster Seems to Kill Off Woody from 'Toy Story'
A new poster for the upcoming movie Child’s Play has been released… and everyone’s favorite sheriff was seemingly killed off on it!
The new poster features the evil Chucky walking away with an arm holding the sheriff’s hat stretched across the ground.
While the beloved Toy Story character Woody isn’t actually named on the poster, it’s clear that a toy cowboy has been snuffed. Star Wars‘ Mark Hamill, who voices the role of Chucky, posted the image on Twitter and wrote, “Woody?….. or wouldn’t he? ????.”
The new rendition of the horror film happens to open the same month as Disney’s Toy Story 4.
A contemporary re-imagining of the 1988 horror classic, Child’s Play follows Karen (Aubrey Plaza), a single mother who gifts her son Andy (Gabriel Bateman) a internet-connected Buddi doll, unaware of its more sinister nature.
