Camping restrictions on loch Morar
Hi
we have just heard of camping restrictions covering the islands on loch Morar because sea eagles are nesting there!
we havenÂt been able to confirm this - and a google search on the way north produced nothing- but a mate in the area picked this info from one of the canoe centres in the area. I guess they would know.
whilst this is wonderful , if true, it does rather kybosh our plans for the next few days.
we are now up in fort William and wondering what could replace lochmorar for a flat water paddle and picturesque wild camping. Loch Slioch springs to mind and perhaps Loch Quoich? But we lack any local knowledge and whilst we trawl the web using uncertain WiFi I wondered if I could tap the knowledge on this forum for ideas.
