I’ve had a lot of people ask me about depth shading for Navionics charts and I’ve got an answer for you. Navionics is releasing an update in May for Hot Maps and Platinum+ charts that will include SonarChart Shading, 3D underwater relief mapping, and updated Sat Overlay images. The update is free to active Hot Maps and Platinum+ subscribers. If you have a unit that is capable of using the advanced features of the Hot Map or Platinum card, the new features will be included in your update.
