[Baseball] Bryan Baseball Seeded No. 2, Will Face No. 7 Milligan in AAC Tournament Opening Round

DAYTON, Tenn. – Bryan College baseball's dominating finish in the regular-season not only moved them up in the most recent NAIA Coaches' Top-25 poll to 16th in the country, but the Lions also surpassed Truett McConnell University (Ga.) (28-17, 18-9 AAC) in the Appalachian Athletic Conference standings for runner-up behind 2nd-ranked and conference regular-season champion Tennessee Wesleyan University (44-8, 21-6 AAC). This allowed the Lions to earn the 2nd seed entering this week's AAC baseball tournament, which runs May 1-4, 2019 at Hunter Wright Stadium in Kingsport, Tennessee. The four-day event format consists of eight teams in two pools of four. It is double-elimination within pool play. The two pool winners will then meet in a winner-take-all championship game to determine the 2019 AAC tournament champion. Seeds No. 1, 4, 5, and 8 are in Pool A while seeds No. 2, 3, 6, and 7 are in Pool B.
