FLORENCE, Ind. – The Asbury University women's golf team wrapped up tournament play on Tuesday at Belterra Golf Course in Florence, Ind. for the final round of the River States Conference (RSC) Championship.
The Eagles shot their best score as a team shooting a 322 for the final round and finished in third place out of nine squads. AU finished the tournament with a team score of 976.
Midway University won the tournament after collecting a 957 through all three rounds.
Hannah McCrabb led Asbury with a team-best fourth-place finish. She shot an 80 in the final round, which gave her a total of 238 for the Championship.
Faith Wiley also performed well and tallied a fifth-place overall finish. The freshman concluded the tournament with a score of 240 and recorded an 80 in the final round.
Claire Watts shot team-best final round score of 78. Watts claimed a 12th place finish on the leaderboard with a total score of 247.
Rounding out the rest of the scoring for Asbury was Jill Florence and Jennifer Fuqua. Florence finished inside the top 15 with a 14th place finish, and Fuqua held her position at 20th on the leaderboard.
At the awards ceremony concluding the tournament, Faith Wiley and Hannah McCrabb were named First Team All-Conference, while Claire Watts was the Champion of Character recipient.
