Report: Spurs star has verbally agreed a summer exit from the club

Christian Eriksen’s long term future at Tottenham Hotspur has been in doubt for some time after the midfielder has yet to put pen to paper on a new contract in North London.

The Dane is out of contract in the summer of 2020 with Spurs officials facing a dilemma of selling him this summer or risk him walking away from the club for free just twelve months later.

A report in Spanish outlet AS is claiming that the 27-year-old is refusing to sign a contract extension at Tottenham and has verbally agreed to join Real Madrid.

The Spanish giants are said to be ready to offer £130million to land the playmaker.

Madrid have a track record of prising away Tottenham’s star players having previously signed both Gareth Bale and Luka Modric.
