Contract serviceman wounded in Armenia's Tavush 'undergoes successful surgery'
The Armenian contract serviceman hit in the adversary's gunfire in the north-eastern region of Tavush was successfully operated on after being transported Yerevan, the Defense Ministry's spokesperson says on Facebook.
According to Artsrun Hovhnnisyan's post, Argishti Sepkhanyan, 32, is now in a stable condition, "showing signs of positive dynamics". The serviceman was wounded in the skull.
In a separate press release, the Investigative Committee said that they instituted a criminal case over infliction of a fragmentary injury (Section 2 (13), Article 34-104 of the Criminal Code of Armenia).
