Artsakh Foreign Ministry officials conduct official meetings in Buenos Aires  

As part of a visit to Argentina, a delegation led by Masis Mayilyan, the foreign minister of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), on Tuesday met with  Facundo Suarez Lastra, a former mayor of Buenos Aires and a current secretary of the Foreign Relations Committee at the country's National Congress (Radical Civil Union).

According to an official press release, Mayilyan briefed the Argentinean politician on the goals of the delegation's visit. The sides discussed also the situation and the stability-building perspectives in the South Caucasus regopm.

Later the same day, the delegation met with Jorge Taiana, a former Argentinean foreign minister who currently heads the influenial Justicialist Party and reprsents the country in the Union of South America Nations. The peaceful settlment of the Azerbaijan-Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and Artsakh's international recognition were on the agenda of the meeting. The sides also considered other mutual interests.
