Climbfest 2019
The 2019 Climbfest will be on the usual Mayday bank holiday weekend 3-6May at Malin Head.
Climbing will be centred on the sea cliffs east of Bamba’s Crown (the tower at Malin Head carpark). See map below.
Camping for tents, as well as parking for campers and caravans will be available in the field beside The Seaview Tavern at SlieveBawn (approx 4km from the climbing areas). Car parking at Malin Head is limited, so car sharing or cycling between the campsite and Malin Head is recommended.
The beginner’s climbing session will be on Saturday morning. Meet at 9.45 at the campsite, or 10am at Malin Head carpark. If you arrive late, just walk east from the carpark along the coast and listen out for the climbers.
