Nigerian woman describes how she was harassed by police officers while hanging out with her husband
A Nigerian woman has narrated her experience with police officers, civil defense officers and prison officials in Abuja. The woman had revealed that she was harassed by the officers while she was out with her husband.
The lady identified as Lychee 19 on Twitter, recounted her experience in a tweet. Lychee 19 explained that the incident had occurred on Saturday, April 27, at Ketchup in Abuja.
In the tweet, Lychee 19 explained that she had been on a date with her husband when the police officers, civil defense officers and prison officials invaded their privacy and started picking up women.
She explained that the officers had come with twenty hilux cars, three costar buses and cars to pick up people randomly.

The woman explained that they were molesting people and they walked up to the table she sat with her husband and tried to drag her off.

Lychee 19 noted that she had to start shouting for her husband while he was screaming at them that she is his wife.

According to the lady, she was left alone after one of them noticed her wedding band on her finger. She stated that many of the ladies that came out were all arrested.
