Hilarious moment van driver gets stuck in a car wash – and takes the entire thing with him
THIS is the hilarious moment a van driver got stuck in a petrol station car wash – before driving off with the one-tonne dryer wedged on his roof.
Customers were left in hysterics as the modified Ford Transit smashed through the Wash n’Drive at a Texaco filling station in Pontefract, West Yorks, last week.
Dashcam footage shows the red van inching out of the car wash with the massive white drier stuck by the rollers.
The van appears to have wedged itself in the last part of the car wash conveyor belt service.
One passenger can be heard chuckling: “Oh dear, oh dear” as they drive past the van.
Another jokes that it “saves on getting a hand wash at least”, adding that the van driver should ask for his money back.
They descend into fits of giggles as they pass the wash site on Ackworth Road.

The machinery, believed to be a Belanger Top Wheel (also known as a Buff-n-Dry Machine) can cost over £10,000.
A member of staff at the service station confirmed an incident had happened but said they could not comment further until management were available.
Texaco have been contacted for comment.
