Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Unfollow Kate Middleton & Prince William on Instagram - Find Out Why

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s official Instagram account, @SussexRoyal, abruptly unfollowed several royal accounts, and we know the reason why.

If you missed it, the account used to be following 23 accounts but is now only following 16. They unfollowed @KensingtonRoyal (which is Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s account), @ClarenceHouse (which is Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla‘s account), Princess Eugenie, the Royal Family account, and others.

However, Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry did it all for a good cause.

In a recent post, they posted that they have decided to only follow accounts that “promote mental well-being, mental fitness, body positivity, self-care, and the importance of human connection.”

May is Mental Health Awareness Month in America, and in the UK, Mental Health Awareness Week kicks off on May 13.

The royal couple also announced that they will be following new organizations each month to highlight different important causes.
