Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 & Apparel Collection Release Date Announced
Travis Scott's Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG collab unexpectedly released on Tuesday night in celebration of Scott's birthday, marking the second time that the kicks have suddenly dropped - the first time was back in March.
The next time the Cactus Jack 1s release you'll be ready, because Nike has officially announced that the collab will be releasing on May 11 alongside a matching range of apparel.
The shoe stands out with earthy tones and textures, paying homage to his childhood backyard where he played as a kid, and features a backwards Nike Swoosh, a hidden heel pocket and subtle Cactus Jack branding. The shoe also incorporates Scott’s personal touch with hand-sketched logos.
The Travis Scott x Jordan Brand apparel collection will consist of a fleece hoodie, fleece shorts, a tracksuit and tees - all decked out in Cactus Jack colors and imagery.
“The apparel collection is just another form of expression and design.” said Scott, “It brings the creative to other lifestyles pieces for the brand.”
