These 4 comments from senators provide a glimpse of what to expect from William Barr's testimony
Attorney General William Barr's testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee about Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into 2016 Russian election interference and the Trump campaign's conduct surrounding the meddling on Wednesday is expected to be quite tense today. It should also serve as a showcase for a few Democratic presidential candidates, who are stepping off the campaign trail for the day and focusing on their day jobs. Take a look at what some of the senators on the committee have been saying leading up to the hearing.
1. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) - The 2020 candidate wants to make sure Barr knows he's not President Trump's lawyer.
Kamala Harris ahead of AG William Barr's hearing in front of Senate Judiciary Committee (she is flying to DC tonight): "I think [Barr's] performance thus far has called into question what he thinks of as his responsibility and to whom he feels a sense of responsibility." pic.twitter.com/I7NQqFQARN

2. Lindsay Graham (R-S.C.) - The chair of the committee is just ready to get this over with.
Senate Judiciary Chairman @LindseyGrahamSC told Face the Nation it's "Barr's job to tell us about what the report says. I'm not going to re-litigate it... It's over for me." Barr will testify in front of the Judiciary Committee later today. pic.twitter.com/a3oBBtbE5f

3. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) - Another presidential candidate, Klobuchar questions whether political motives were behind Barr's summary of Mueller's findings.
Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who will be questioning Attorney General William Barr tomorrow, calls the Mueller letter “one more example of how this four-page letter that (Barr) sent out was political.” https://t.co/c6Wx1wRHQP pic.twitter.com/lqmnjeE4oX

4. Mike Lee (R-Utah) — Lee is on the same page as Klobuchar, broadly speaking. He just thinks it's the Democrats who are turning the situation into political theater, not Barr.
