Trump backers wrong inview of Mueller report

President Trump’s supporters, like the man himself, have taken a “black-and-white” approach to the Mueller report: If it’s not “black,” (proof of collusion, recommendation to prosecute for obstruction of justice) it’s “white” — everything is OK, the investigation was a waste of time, and Trump is completely free of wrongdoing so it really was a witch hunt and a hoax.

However, everything is not OK. The primary reason for the investigation was the question of Russian interference in the election and that has been proven by the report, proof which Trump denies by silence because he can’t deal with the notion that Russian interference on his behalf handed him his victory with or without collusion.

In addition, evidence of his attempts to obstruct justice and abuse his official power is appalling and indefensible. Not “white” at all; more of a deep dark charcoal.
