- Dinner winner plate, £6.99 from Aldi – buy now
She bought the Fred’s Dinner Winner tray from the budget supermarket for £6.99.
The clever dish divides food up into eight manageable portions, which aim to help kids eat their way to the finish line.
If they manage to munch their way through the different sections, they get a treat for pudding.
The astonished mum revealed on the page Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK: “I really struggle with my three year old as she never sits still so we are constantly telling to her to sit back down, also she is very fussy and doesn’t like meals, but bought this plate today from Aldi for £6.99 and she’s sat and eaten ALL her dinner including the veg!
“Without getting off her seat at all and ate it without arguments!
“Under the castle at the end is a pudding – she loves it!”
The groundbreaking plate was released as part of Aldi’s recent Baby & Toddler Specialbuy event, which launched on April 25.
Usually the Specialbuy items are not replaced once they sell out, but the plates are still available on the Aldi website, along with some on Amazon and eBay too.
Numerous mums have gushed about the genius plate and said it worked for their kids too.
One said: “Been using one for few months now my son has autism and can’t have food touching so this is great game and has helped him eat and try different things.”
Another raved: “My 2 year old fussy eater ate all of this tonight, I love this plate.”
Meanwhile one person commented: “It’s worked with my 3y old, they’re great.”
