The Lagos state chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has reportedly said it is in total support of Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s bid to become the deputy Senate president in the Ninth National Assembly, Independent reports.
Legit.ng gathered that the party also said it believes Tinubu’s performance in the Senate in the last 8 years in the National Assembly qualifies her for higher position.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that a former Lagos state governor and national leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, reportedly opposed his wife Senator Oluremi's ambition to become deputy Senate president in the 9th National Assembly.
It was reported that Tinubu is more interested in Lagos state producing the incoming speaker of the House of Representatives, a position Femi Gbajabiamila, the incumbent majority leader of the House of Reps, is seriously eyeing.
