The report said that the governors on Tuesday night, April 30, met with over 90 percent of all members-elect from the region cutting across all political parties from the region.

The a meeting was held at the Abuja residence of Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Suleiman Wambi, a chieftain of the APC, recently said that President Muhammadu Buhari had settled for Ahmed Lawan and Femi Gbajabiamila as Senate president and speaker of the House of Representatives, respectively, in the interest of the nation.

The report said that Wambi, the national vice chairman of the party in the north-central, spoke in Abuja where he answered question on National Assembly leadership issue.
