Eastenders spoilers: Bailey’s terminally ill mum Dinah dies as Karen, Keanu and Chantelle gather graveside for her funeral
NEW pictures of the Eastenders cast filming on set confirm that terminally ill Dinah dies – leaving daughter Bailey to be bought up by Mitch Baker.
The photos show Keanu and Karen Taylor joining Chantelle Atkins graveside, and the funeral flowers spell out ‘MAMA’.
Joined by Chantelle’s brother Keegan, the cast seemed to be dressed for a funeral – apart from Chantelle’s husband Gray, who was wearing a cosy trackie top.
In between scenes, Bernadette Taylor, played by Clair Norris, wore a huge puffa jacket to keep warm – personalised with her name.
Roger Griffiths, who plays Mitch, snacked on lunch between scenes as the cast filmed.
It’s the end of a heartbreaking storyline for Mitch and nine year old Bailey – who turned up in the Square when Mitch returned earlier this year.

After initially denying he was her dad, Mitch and the Taylors now treat Bailey as family after discovering that she was acting as a carer for her terminally ill mum.
Last week, viewers were heartbroken as Keegan discovered that Bailey was caring for her mum Dinah alone – and she couldn’t cope.
Keegan insisted that Deana should put her increasingly frail mum in a care home – but looking at the sad pictures from filming, it seems Dinah’s story has a very sad ending.
Mitch had begged ex Karen Taylor to let Bailey move in with the family in Walford when her mum passed away – but Karen wasn’t keen.
Actress Kara-Leah Fernandes, who plays Bailey, was spotted with her back to the camera alongside Chantelle actress Jessica Plummer.
