Ontario cuts $50 million fund that lowered child care centre costs

Ontario has cancelled a $50M fund that was meant to help keep child care centre costs down for parents by helping the centres with their rising costs. A Peel Region centre has already told parents their fees will increase — up to an extra $72 a month for full-time infant care.
