Women’s bodies found clothed and stacked on top of one another in freezer in Canning Town flat
THE bodies of two women were found stacked on top of each other in a freezer in an East London council flat.
Cops revealed the victims were fully clothed and fused together when discovered at the property in Canning Town.
One of the bodies is feared to be mum-of-two Mary Jane Mustafa, 38, who went missing last May.
DCI Simon Harding, of the Met Police, said: “It’s difficult to say [how long they’d been there for] it’s such an unusual scene, I’ve haven’t really seen something like this with the nature of the two bodies being frozen as they are.”
TWO ARRESTED
Cops swooped on a man, 34, named locally as Zahid “Ali” Younis, and neighbour Harold Jolly, 50, following the grim scene in London on Friday.
Last night the Met Police said the arrested 50-year-old had been “released under investigation”.
DCI Harding said it could take a “week” until detectives will be formally able to identify the women.
“COMPLEX” SCENE
He added that the scene was one of the most “challenging and complex” he had experienced in 28 years.
DCI Harding explained: “The scene itself was incredibly complex. A post-mortem will start on Friday and may go on for a significant amount of time over days. The complex nature of this scene has made it very difficult to identify the two females at this moment.

“They are clothed and that is also causing a complexity to it as we wait to be able to start any post-mortem.
“They are in a chest freezer, it’s not particularly big, there is one body on top of the other, the nature of being in a chest freezer anyway has caused the bodies to freeze so the time it takes to forensically retrieve as they thaw has made it complex.”
MISSING MUM-OF-TWO
The devastated family of missing Mary Jane were seen at one of the crime scenes in Canning Town shortly after the women were found.
Mary Jane vanished mysteriously last May after popping to the shops with just her phone and £3 in her pocket.
Her older sister told the MailOnline: “It’s my baby sister… I can’t believe she is dead.”
She was seen being comforted by friends and family at the police cordon in Canning Town, East London.
One neighbour at a second property claimed Jolly had been arrested.
The woman, named only as Bud, said he had lived there for more than a decade.
She said: “Mary Jane always used to be in there, she would always come out his house wearing a night robe.
“She used to give my kids chocolate, she was a lovely woman, a nice woman.

Younis’s mum Roukhmat Cader, 53, voiced her shock yesterday.
She said: “It’s awful. I can’t imagine what their families are going through.”
