Shanahan says he doesn't know how long troops will remain at southern border

Acting Defense Secretary Pat Shanahan told lawmakers Wednesday that he did not know how long thousands of military troops would remain at the U.S. southern border though he said they would stay as long as they were under legal orders from the White House.
