Biogen’s antisense ALS drug shows promise in early clinical trial

In the wake of a major pipeline failure in Alzheimer’s disease, Biogen has turned up positive early results for tofersen (BIIB067), an SOD1-targeting antisense treatment for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
