Jansson cited for 3 match ban
The FA discliplinary comittee, in a move that will further enrage Leeds fans, have this evening requested that Leeds defender Pontus Jannson answers a charge of unsporting conduct related to his attempt to tackle an Aston Villa player, Albert Adomah, after Leeds had agreed to allow Aston Villa to walk the ball into the Leeds goal.
Despite the ugly scenes that followed Leeds scoring no Aston Villa players received any additional punishments whilst Leeds striker Patrick Bamford is set to receive a 2 match ban for attempting to deceive an official which could see him miss a potential play-off clash with Aston Villa if Leeds fail to secure 3rd place byu at least drawing against Ipswich this Sunday.
Leeds were unavailable for comment this evening but an FA spokesman confirmed that they were reviewing all matches that Leeds have played this season and will also be looking to ban any Leeds player that has attempted to stop an opposition player scoring this season. Had you going for a while there?
