More Dodger Goodies at Goldin Auctions
Last week I highlighted a couple of fantastic Jackie Robinson game-used items on auction at Goldin (link here), and wanted to take a little moment this afternoon to point-out a handful of other Dodger collectibles available there.
First of all, there's some great Dodgers artwork. Above is an Arthur Miller portrait of Jackie Robinson (Auction Link) that was painted last year. To the right is another Arthur Miller piece. It features Sandy Koufax on a 1948 Leaf Baseball card design and was completed this year (Auction Link).
Directly below is purported to be a circa 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers Johnny Podres game-used cap (Auction Link). This was the season he lead the ballclub towards their first World Championship -- throwing two complete game victories.
There's also one of those 1956 Brooklyn Dodgers 'Goodwill Tour of Japan' photo albums for sale (Auction Link). Unfortunately, we don't know who was originally given this and a page appears to be missing. Nevertheless, this is a great item that includes numerous fantastic and unique photographs.
Lastly, there are a bunch of Dodgers season passes for sale. Below is a 1937 Brooklyn Dodgers Season Pass (Auction Link).
And here are a bunch of Los Angeles Dodgers Season Passes from 1960-78 (Auction Link).
