[Baseball] Rio to face Cougars in tourney opener

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - The 2019 River States Conference Baseball Championship bracket gets underway Thursday with a trio of games at VA Memorial Stadium.
The six-team, double-elimination tournament is scheduled to run through Sunday at the home of the Prospect League's Chillicothe Paints. The champion will receive an automatic bid to the NAIA Baseball National Championship.
The tournament features three games each day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with start times at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. The championship round is Sunday at 11 a.m. with the championship second round to follow, if necessary.
The all-conference teams and award winners will be recognized between games two and three of the day on Thursday at approximately 5:30 p.m.
